Generic record

With the generic record you can enter the total distances you cover per year. Please note that you should always divide the distances by the number of people occupying the vehicle on average. This applies to your own vehicle as well as to CarSharing and carpooling.


Detailed record

With the detailed record you have the option of dividing all routes into similar trips. In this way, you can divide commuting to work, regular trips for shopping, holidays and other journeys into blocks of your choice and assign them to different means of transport.
With the number of trips you can record how often you cover this distance in a year. For example, if you travel to work 5 days a week, then that is about 200 days a year without holidays.


Result

The carbon footprint is calculated from the combustion of fuels, the use of electricity and the upstream processes respectively.

In your carbon scenario you can now look to the future. Answer questions about changes you're planning, new habits and even investments. On the basis of your carbon balance today the projections are carried out, up to what the German average would be in 2050.

Today

Your carbon scenario picks up where you've left off in your carbon balance.

Short-term

Personal changes in the next 5 years are reflected in your short term scenario.

Medium-term

A more climate-friendly society and your personal changes then lead to a medium-term scenario covering the next 10 to 15 years.

Germany 2050

Your acceptance of long-term climate protection measures and the corresponding policies then lead to a projected German average value for the year 2050.
